Error message when opening Trados Studio: Service 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.ProjectManagement.IProjectManagementService' could not be started

Question

The solutions used in the article 000001429 didn't help. 
 Please help me to find the solution.

 Have you tried all the solutions in the article mentioned? 
 Perhaps you could post the full error stack as this may provide further information

It would also be useful to know the exact version of Studio you are running along with the operating system. 
 In the meantime it would be advised to make sure everything is up-to-date (Drivers/OS/Studio etc)

Hello Frederic Schneider , 
 It looks as though the projects .xml is causing the problem (corrupt). 
 
 Delete the projects.xml file from C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Studio 2019\Projects so that you are able to start Studio. 
 After starting Studio, go to File > Setup > Users and edit the user info in there. Make sure you type the information and not copy-paste it. 
 Close Studio and delete the projects.xml file before starting it again. 
 
 Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

 The case you mentioned was already closed. The SDL engineer contacted you for the first time in the same day I opened the case for you (11.03), then followed up on 16.03 and closed the case today 18.03 because there were no replies from you for a week. I will log another case for you but if you don`t reply there`s nothing else we can do to help.

Run it as administrator. 
 Mine just did this and I've managed to start it up so I can at least do a new project. It's lost several settings (but kept some others) but I'll figure that out lately. Since it's not loaded old projects I'm guessing there's a problem there.
