If you need to transfer your license from one computer to another, please deactivate the license from your computer, install the software on the new computer (please download the installer from your SDL account), and then activate the license on your new computer. 

To deactivate the license from the product please open Studio, and select help - product activation - and click on deactivate button

Hi, I have successfully deactivated the license in the first computer, but I don't know where to find my installation ID so as to install it in the second computer. Can you please help? I only have the licence number / activation code, but not the installation ID.

Hi,

Generally you would not need an installation ID, just the activation code. The activation is made by pasting the activation code, which is your license number, into the activation window of Studio.

If you are using a Professional Network license, please submit a case with our licensing team at https://gateway.sdl.com/webtocaserequest and they will be able to help you further with the activation.
