I'm trying to transfer my 2017 Studio and Multiterm from my old laptop to the new laptop. Somehow it is only showing that I now have a 30 day trial version? What happened?
The message on my old laptop says "license expired". "The product license has been deactivated and SDL Trados Studio will now exit. To start SDL Trados Studio again, you must activate the product."
It seems that deactivation was successful but how can I get it set up on the new laptop now?
I now have a shortcut for Studio 2017 (30 day version) on my desktop but no MultiTerm. And, I have to admit, I cannot find my license number. I will most likely need this tomorrow. I really need some help.

The deactivation was indeed successful and you can find your license number in your SDL account (https://oos.sdl.com/) under Products & Plans > Licenses.
Once you activate Trados Studio you can also install Multiterm. Here is a link for Multiterm installer in case you don`t have it: ftp://sdlpatches:5dlpatch35@ftp-emea.sdlproducts.com/SDL_TP/MultiTerm2017_CUs/SDLMultiTermDesktop2017_SR1_55461.zip

Hi Sorin, Now my trados is activated - thank you. But I cannot open the link for Multiterm. It just sits there and won't open. Any ideas?

Please try to copy the link in another browser or to download Multiterm from your SDL account > Products & Plans > Downloads.
