You helped me reset a license the other day. I could then successfully install Studio on a new PC, but the license cannot be re-activated either on that new machine or on my existing one. Advice please.

Please try to reset the license from your SDL account as described in this article and then reactivate it: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge
