You purchased a subscription licence so you don't get an activation code.  It's a simple process, just follow the steps here:

Sorry but i have the same problem and it doesn't work even with the part of language cloud subscriptio (that i have actually). It says not connected to a server but i'm totally connected and internet is working good. I don't know what to do and i need trados urgently today. Thanks for helping

Doesn't work for me either with the subscription arrangement. Get this: 
An account has already been linked to your organization. We recommend that you contact your account administrator for helping you with the user configuration. Alternatively, contact the support team.

I have old licenses from 2017 and older (maybe) that I cannot return.
