If you can't open Studio, please run a repair and reset by following the steps provided here:

After that, please remove the plugin using the steps described in this article:

Then make sure Studio runs its updates for that go to Help tab -in the top ribbon- > "Check for updates". The latest version is Studio SR1 v.16.1.4.4184.

Try again to install the plugin from the AppStore Integration - top left corner in the product- or directly from the AppStore:

https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/iris-pdf-ocr-support-for-studio/794/ 

Follow the steps provided in the plugin description to enable the " IRIS technology.." option.

And try again, see if it works.

Hi, I have the exact same two issues as were described described above.

I have tried all the steps described above, including reinstalling the plugin from both the AppStore Integration and directly from the AppStore.
I also tried manually deleting the plugin files in between reinstalls, as well as uninstalling from the AppStore Integration.

Still no success, so had to remove the plugin again just so that I could close Trados normally.

Is there any other solution to try?

What Studio version exactly you're using and what operating system?

It's difficult to reproduce from my side with my files, I picked some scanned ones and I could not replicate the issue. Can you please share some of your files that give you issues, so we can try and reproduce it ourselves? onagy@sdl.com
