How to downgrade to Trados Studio 2015?

I have an issue about the Error message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" from Trados Studio 2017.

I tried many ways according to solutions from SDL community. But all failed.

Even I bought a new computer and installed Trados Studio 2017, but usless.

And I tried Trados Studio 2021 and 2015, all has no issue. For upgrade to 2021, it takes money. How about downgrade to 2015?

Originally I bought Trados Studio 2015 and upgraded to 2017 without any cost. SDL recommended me to upgarde to 2017 without any cost at that time.

So Can I downgrade to 2015 the original one I bought?

    Hello @

    After you upgraded from Studio 2015 to 2017, the Studio 2015 license was removed/upgraded.

    I believe the issue has been tested on 2017, and couldn't be replicated.

    You have mentioned that you have tried this in 2021 and found no issue.

    It appears you have ordered an upgrade to Studio 2021- so it's perhaps best to upgrade, as neither Studio 2015 or 2017 are supported any more.

    But actually the issue has been happened on my Trados Studio 2017. I submitted the error log files to SDL community and SDL Korea technical team ,but nobody solved the Issue. SDL Korea technical team said the issue is not solved on Trados Studio 2017 and need to upgrade to 2021 to solve the issue. The order is the counter offer from SDL Korea. But I am not affordable of it. To make sure the issue I had to buy a new computer and test all the three version of Trados. Only 2017 has the issue to me. Would you re-issue the license of Trados Studio 2015 what I bought originally? I mean downgrade from 2017 to 2015. I don't need the licence of 2017. The error is getting more frequently happen. It was okay until the first half year of 2020, but it started happen from the second half year of 2020. And entering to this year, that error happens more frequent. Now I cannot keep using version 2017.

    I had to spend so many time to solve this issue. The only solution is to upgarde to 2021, or downgrade to 2015. I am not a heavy user. I use simple function. Actually I cannot accept to pay another US$200 for this issue. I like to get more discount or downgrade to 2015. Please~~
