Trados Business Manager Essential 6

After downloading and installing, Trados Business Manager Essential refuses to work. After launching the application the dashbord is shown and then I see rotating black squares for a moment. Then the following error message appears at the bottom of the application windows.

"An error has occurred. Information about error occurred has been sent to our developers. Application may no longer respond until reloaded. You can press F12 to view error details in the browser's console. Reload".

When reloading not even the dashbords are shown. 

What must be done to get this software up and running?
