Hi,
Since I installed SDL Trados on my new pc, the Multiterm termbases no longer connect to Studio. I get a message every time I start up Studio and indeed there is no way to match terms in my translation.
How can I solve this?
Thank you
Veerle

Hi Veerle De Bruyn,
Can you please provide more details as per the error message when Studio is launched?
Also, since you installed Studio on a new PC, you might want to check if Windows is up-to-date and Studio run with the latest updates as well.
These following articles are useful to check, many times the problems are solved by going through all the steps described there:
Please save the error by clicking on the disc icon and, then saving to your desktop and including this in communications with SDL/RWS.
These 'error stacks' helps us locate the issues and provide solutions much quicker generally.
You can also post the full 'error stack':

Another question: a colleague who encountered a similar problem says "I asked support and they sent me a patch for Multiterm. then it worked." I don't know if sending me a patch could work as well?

Hi Veerle De Bruyn,
Please remove the termbases from the project, then make a copy or them and rename them, then save them someplace else and add them back again.
Let me know if that does the trick!

Dear Oana,
This indeed seems to work, I can see the correct termbase activated now and I can add new terms. Thank you. I will let you know should I encounter any more troubles!
Best regards
Veerle.
