Is it possible to get some technical help installing a trial version of Trados Business Manager Enterprise Edition 6.0. The instructions I've received are these: https://community.sdl.com/product-groups/translationproductivity/business-manager/w/wiki/5101/installing-sdl-trados-business-manager-team-enterprise, but I cannot understand how to install a Windows Server. I'm conscious of the fact that the trial has started and I can't even begin using it.

Sorry to hear that you can't install the software, but exactly for these reasons we have created very detailed text and video tutorials. We can provide technical support for any product-related questions, but installing of Windows Server or any other software is far beyond this scope, and special resources exist in Internet which can help you. To install TBM, you need some operating system with IIS and WebSockets features enabled.
Thanks Eugene, what I'm trying to understand is if I even need to have the Windows Server if I have a trial of TBM desktop version? I don't think the instructions are that clear at differentiating between the online and the desktop version installations. The unofficial video on the instructions page actually does say that you don't need Windows Server, but the official instructions then go on to say that Windows Server is one of the system requirements. When I tried to install the software the installation wizard and subsequently the version of the software installed on my computer is Trados Business Manager Online V.6, so have I been given a trial of the wrong TBM?

Yes, Online version (Team and Enterprise) work via browsers, and thus require installation on some server. While Essential version is desktop application for freelancers, it does not require any servers of course, and instructions about installing it are here:
Probably you're looking for Essential one? Please check comparison on official website. It's the same as Online except outsourcing capabilities and network access.
