I had SDL Trados 2021 installed an my laptop died. I reinstalled Windows and SDL Trados but on my account the license still shows as in use (for the old, 'dead" laptop) so I cannot activate. Could you please advise?

You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MyRWS account for Trados Studio 2021.
Use this KB article ( gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge ) and follow the instructions.
