I have reinstalled SDL Trados Studio 2017 but cannot activate it.

Thanks for advising me!

  • Hello Eduardo,

Can you please advise if you have deactivated the license for Studio 2017? Most versions have single-user licenses, which means that they can be activated on one device at a time. If you haven't deactivated the license, it may still show up as in use. The best way to check the status of your license is to view the Licenses section of your SDL account. If the license appears to be In Use (not available), it has the be reset (deactivated) to be activated again. In this case, there should be a Reset License option in the Licenses section of your SDL account.

    Best regards,

    Adrian

  • Dear Adrian,

I have replied to your email through another email I have received from SDL support group. I wonder if your have seen my answer to your email. Anyways, three other fellow workers of yours within RWS are following up and answering accordingly to my issues. I thank again very much for your dedicated attention.

I have received the Activation Code for Trados Studio 2017 frelance and managed to have it reinstalled in my computer. Now I am trying to have the Adaptive MT and other resources installed for future translations.

I have also asked for the resetting of Trados Studio 2015 license  in order to be able to use project files for terminology purposes. Kind regards   Eduardo Luiz Pinheiro Reis
