Hi Paul: This are the screenshots that I received when I tried to open the files for translations. FYI when I first installed Trados, the CC and SRT applications, I was able to open them. When I came back to continue translating I stated receiving this error messages, since then I've not been able to open any files.

This will give us more relevant details on where the problem may be coming from as well as tell things like the version of Studio you are actually using!
