When I download Studio 2014 from my SDL account, a trial version for one month is installed.
As I already bought it, I don't want to buy again (upgrade to a more recent version would be OK), but I do need to recover all my projects. At the moment, I cannot work ! HELP !
As long as you do not activate your Studio, it will run in trial mode. The activation code can be found in your account, Products and Plans - Licenses.
Unfortunately, you can no longer upgrade as the upgrade path is closed. This also goes for upgrading to versions older than Studio 2021, as we do not sell them anymore, so there is no way of upgrading to them.

I don't know how to activate my Studio. The trial mode looks as if I am considered as a new buyer when I have been using SDL Trados for 10 years.
When the trial mode is open, I am offered to buy a licence. I don't want that. All I want is to find my old Studio with all its contents. The trial version is empty of course.
What is the activation code? What does it look like ?
Also I had a chat two days ago with someone called Alina and she said she had activated my licence, but it seems that it is not the case.
She did it for me because my previous computer having crashed, I could not access my licence to deactivate it first.
Is it possible for you to look into my account and check if the licence is activated indeed ?

My colleague Alina deactivated your license from the old computer. Yes, I can see in the system that your license is currently deactivated. When opening Studio you will be prompted to add an activation code. The activation code is a sequence of numbers, is confidential, you can find it in your account, Products and Plans - Licenses.

My colleague Alina deactivated your license from the old computer. Yes, I can see in the system that your license is currently deactivated. When opening Studio you will be prompted to add an activation code. The activation code is a sequence of numbers, is confidential, you can find it in your account, Products and Plans - Licenses.

I just tried to activate the trial version and it fails. It says socket error 2 ???
Can you re-activate my licence please ? I thought Alina had done it. That's probably why it doesn't work.
