Network License stopped working

Hi, we have now two cases where our internal SDL Trados Studio 2017 user reports the same problem: network license stopped working and Studio reports that License is Expired. When we try to reactivate the connection, it hangs for a while but does not get the connection and in the end returns to Product Activation dialog with information License Expired. The license has been working until now, and there has not been any changes in the systems, as far as we know.

Both users use VPN. The network license works for me through VPN so I do not think it is just related to VPN connection, and then again, it has worked before, so why it suddenly stops working, beats me. And as far as I know, the users have not borrowed the license. Any ideas how to solve this?
