TRADOS 2014 does not work. Please help!

I've uninstalled Trados 2014 yesterday as it stopped working. I re-installed it and went through the set up process and got no error msgs. But when I launch it opens the initialising window/checking license, etc. but then it does not open the software but a blank window. I thought this could be due to a licensing issue (as I didn't deactivate the license before uninstalling Trados) but they told me that having freelance plus I've another license available. Not sure what's going on.

The software was working perfectly fine yesterday morning, then it all started with Multiterm which stopped working and when I tried to add the tb again it would say something about needing to update it to a latest version. I followed the instructions but it did not update it and then Trados stopped working. Not sure if this could be related to the fact that I had the trial version of Trados 2021 installed, which expired the other day. So I installed the trial version too but it did not solve the problem.
