When I try to deactivate the license for Trados 2017Freelance Plus (to upgrade to 2021 version), it gives the following message: "Deactivation Failed. Could not revoke this license. - Revocation is either complete or already uploaded". How to proceed?
The deactivation is not necessary to process the upgrade.
To process the upgrade from your 2017 version to the 2021 one please follow the below steps
Log in into your SDL account
Click on Products&Plans - Licenses
Click on the blue ribbon that holds the message 'You have 1 upgrade available'
On the page that appears click on Upgrade button again
Once all done return to licenses tab where the 2021 license code will appear.

Thank you very much Elisa for your guidelines. I was able to successfully install the Trados 2021.
My other question is about my earlier 2017 version. Its license is no longer available in my Trados Account, and I am also not able to use it anymore. Can I manually uninstall it (and also Multiterm 2017) from Programs (in Control Panel)?
As you have already upgraded, you are now the owner of Trados 2021. You can try installing Trados 2017 on the same PC, but we cannot guarantee its functioning in that case.
Please note that when needing to keep an additional older license, you need to buy a new license for the latest version, not an upgrade.
