I’m kindly seeking your support in reinstalling the aforementioned program into my computer, as it had crashed and the reinstalled program is not starting at all, and it appears as if it has just downloaded a "Shortcut".

The latest and recommended version of Studio 2021 can be downloaded from the following link: https://downloadcentercdn.sdl.com/TP/Trados/T2021/CUs/SR1_CU8/TradosStudio2021_SR1_CU8_4404.zip
If for some reason you need to install a specific version let me know which version is that.

i have done thi but it keeps going back to what look like a version i used when i had the 30-day trial. what i just redownloaded looks like this:
this is not suppsoed to look like this. i reinstalled it sevevral times but no luck. i didn't weorry about the version but it is suppoed to be the latest 2021 version. i did use the 30-day version (see above)and that seems to have stuck there after several reinstalls. but what you see here is obviously not what we are supposed to see when starting trados 2021.

1. To check if you have the latest version go to Help tab > About SDL Trados Studio. If it`s Build 16.1.8.4404 then it means you have the latest version.
2. To check if you have the Trial version or if Studio is actually activated go to Help tab > Product Activation and see how it shows.
I`m not sure what`s wrong in the screenshot you attached. Maybe you can highlight what you think is not correct there.
