I want to deactivate one of our Trados 2019 license to upgrade the license to 2021 (already bought). I iniciate the deactivation by the program not offline.
The firewall doesn't block anything. but the following error occurs:
In our account, the license has no expiry date.
Could you please help me by deactivating the license?

Hi Jennifer Schaar,
The owner of the license doesn't need to deactivate it, they only need to process the upgrade. In order to do this, please indicate them the below steps:
Log in to your SDL account
Click on Products & Plans - Licenses
Click on the blue ribbon that holds the message 'You have 1 upgrade available'
On the page that appears click on the Upgrade button again
Once all is done, return to the licenses tab, where the 2021 license code will appear.

Please note that the 2019 version will continue to work as long as you have it installed on the same PC as the 2021 version.

Dear Alina,
theoretically that would be just fine. But if I try to upgrade my license in our SDL account, I get a message saying that I have to give back my active license. As this does neither work online nor offline, it seems we still need your help to deactivate the license.
