Unable to connect to license server from home

Hi,

I am a translator at a university, and we use a license server (we use Trados 2017). I can connect to the license server when I am in my office on campus, but I am unable to do so when I am working from home. Do you know what might be the reason for this?

The license server manager is installed on my laptop, and I use a VPN to access my university's network.
