Can not deactivate license on a broken laptop

My laptop broke and I am unable to deactivate the license so that I can install it on a new computer.

Every way I try I am returned to a place where I am asked to verify on the computer that is broken.

I did scan through the messages here, but they do not help, as they always seem to refer to a "Return license" or "Reset license" button on my license page which I do not see. I only see the options "get an offline activation certificate" and "deactivate offline". So I would need Trados to deactivate the license, but when I try to contact them I am being told that "If you do not have a valid support contract you will not be able to log into Gateway."  

Also, the page says that I have an "extra activation". but there is no instruction of how to use that. So as of now, I have not Trados.  (Version 2011 Freelance Plus).
