So I had to install a new harddisk and wanted to transfer my trados studio license. Here is what happened so far: vc_redist not found. Went to the forums, the recommendation here was to go to some cache directory and install from there. Impossible, since the file didn't exist, so I downloaded it directly from Microsoft and installed it. Next, the same happened with some "web enhancement" component that I also had to find on the MS servers and to install manually. Now the installation was finally successful. Then I wanted to return my license, so I switched to the old installation, opened the product activation dialog and clicked the Deactivate button. A message appeared saying they where unable to do so, but my activation (on the old disk) was terminated anyway. Luckily, after restarting the program, it seemed to still be activated. Next I tried the offline deactivation, but the "deactivation authorization" code wasn't accepted. So now I can't deactivate, neither online nor offline. Pressed the Help button, which led to an almost empty help dialog and an error message about a scripting error on the page. This has to be a joke, right?

What am I supposed to do now?

Yeah, great, now even this website starts throwing error messages at me...
