unable to reset a Trados 2019 license to activate on another laptop

I have Trados Studio 2019 Freelancer Plus.

One of the computers had hardware failure. So there is no way to access anything. I could not reset the license from the website. Every time I try it, it gives an error message and reads the relevant support team is informed of the error. But nothing so far. I have around 20 days or so with the trial version.

I tried to deactivate the other license on a very old laptop. It gave the error message like some deactivation is in progress. So  it did not deactivate.

I don't understand why it would be such difficult and problematic thing. Software checks it online to activate. SDL portal has the facility to reset the license activation.

In fact, I was thinking of using one of the licenses by deactivating/reactivating daily between office and house PC. As it is, it will much more impossible task.

Any help much appreciated.
