Trados does not launch after update

After downloading en running the update 'TradosStudio2021SR1_16.1.8.4404.exe' Trados Studio doesn't launch, even though the setup was 'succesfull'.

I tried several times to download and run, also after deactivating my antivirus program and firewall, but to no avail.

There is no error message. After clicking the shortcut or the SDLTradosStudio.exe file it looks like it is launching for a second, then it disappears.

Trados Studio does not appear in the Windows Task Manager.

    I have exactly the same problem as Mirjam:

    Except that the downloaded update was Trados Studio 2021 SR2 16.2.10.9305.

    I have already tried, to no avail:

    - Running as administrator

    - Maximizing TS window (there isn't any window to be maximized)

    - Disabling OneDrive

    - Resetting TS to default state: I cannot see the files and folder paths mentioned in the article, not even after changing the view settings in File Explorer.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
