After purchasing a license for studio 2021 freelance and installing it a window popped up with two options, trial period or "Lizenz erwerben", I don't want to start using a trial period, I would like to skip it and just use the software, how exactly?

You simply need to activate the license.
Simply click where it says 'Aktivieren' Then copy the activation code from your account
and paste it into the activation code dialouge box.
Trados Studio will now be active.
