Please see if the following steps help solve the problem:

1. Make sure Trados (including any error messages) is closed
2. Go to the folder: C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Studio 2021\Projects
3. Find the file “projects.xml” and rename it, for example as “projects.xml_old”
4. Try starting Trados again

Thanks for your reply. I've tried this but it still doesn't work unfortunately. I still get the following error message:

Do you have any other suggestions? I've tried disabling my antivirus software and that hasn't worked either.

Thanks for your reply. I'm afraid this has already been disabled so it doesn't seem to be the cause of my problem. Is there anything else I can try?
