I wanted to activate my licence, but I got this warning.
I installed the software on the laptop of my university.
Can the licence key be changed so that I am able to activate it?
The Freelance license cannot be used on a domain-based network, only on a home network. That is why you cannot use it on a PC at the university.

Thank you very much for your prompt answer. Actually, I have my laptop because I am a teacher at the university, but I am connected to the domain-based network. So, what I can do to be able to use Trados Studio on this laptop?

You will need a Professional version to be able to use it on that network.
If the University is part of the Academic Program then Professional licences are provided as part of Trados Live Team. Do you have access to this?

Dear Paul,
Actually, I don't know if some other departments of my university are members of the Academic Program. My department isn't a member and I don't have access to professional licences.
If you drop an email to education@sdl.com we can check for you, and will of course be happy to talk to you about the program as needed.
On your original problem I'm afraid you're stuck for a desktop solution. This is one of the differences between Freelance and Professional. But you could work with Trados Live as that's browser based and won't suffer with the same restrictions.
