Hi,
I own a single-user license of Trados Studio 2021 Freelance, but my old laptop on which it was installed went dead with fatal hardware failure yesterday, leaving me no way to deactivate my only license before transferring it into my new device.
I browsed the Help documents but found nothing helpful to my situation. All instructions provided appear to require operation on the old computer.
Please kindly advise.

Your license has been reset, please try to activate it on the new computer.
For future reference you can try to reset the license from your RWS account as described in this article: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge
