I see that if I proceed with the upgrade, the Studio 2015 license will be deleted. Is it not possible to have both the 2015 and the 2021 activated (since I have an extra activation with Freelance plus)? I'm concerned about deleting the 2015 licence key and then having trouble installing Studio 2021, since I work with Trados everyday and could not manage without it. If I do proceed with the upgrade, can I still have an activated licence both on my new and on my old machine? Thank you.

you can have 2021 on one machine and 2021 on the other, but not 2015 on one and 2021 on the other. This is because you upgraded. If you want to retain your 2015 licence then you need to purchase 2021 as a new licence ans not an upgrade.

why don’t you install 2021 now without licensing it and then work on trial mode for 30-days? That gives you plenty of time to make sure it’s all as you expect. You can get the trial version of 2021 to do this. It’s the same installer.
