Deactivating licence offline Trados Studio 2019

Question

How can I deactivate my current Trados Studio 2019 license? 
 Quote from SDL Help for for Step 1 in the "How to Deactivate Your Product Offline" article: 
 4. Follow the instructions to obtain a deactivation authorization for your SDL product. 
 Where are these instructions? How to obtain them? Did the person who wrote the help actually tried to follow his/her own instrucitons?? 
 
 In short: how can I deactivate my current Trados Studio 2019 license if I don't have access to the orignal installation? I had to replace my hard drive, which means a fresh Windows installation followed by a fresh Trados installation.

 Not by using the offline deactivation process. That is for something completely different... being able to activate Trados Studio on computers that don't have access to the internet. 
 You need a simple reset. 
 You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for Trados Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021. 
 Use this KB article ( gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge ) and follow the instructions. 
 If you still can't manage it we can get the licensing team to do this for you when you come back and tell us you still need help.
