I just got a new computer and want to move my SDL from the old to the new and it does not recognize my license number and would like to know if someone knows how to do this. I work with SDL 2019 version.

To move the license from one PC to another, there is needed to deactivate first the license and then install the software and activate on the new PC. For a step by step guide on how to move the license please use the below link

Hi thank you for your help. Directions are great. I had however previously uninstalled SDL from that computer thinking that is how I would handle it and later went on the community for help as I was not able to get the newly installed SDL licensed.
Now I tried resetting the old computer to an earlier date so it would have it "reinstalled" the SDL program and I have been at it for 5 hours trying to do that. To no avail. I can't seem to get it back working on the old computer. I got going on a chat with RWS and they helped me through it so now I am a very happy camper.
