Dear Thomas J. Lacombe,

Your request has been logged as:

Case Number: 00644108

Subject: Cannot reinstall trados on a new computer - our company cannot operate

Description:
I am not getting anywhere. One of your reps already deactivated our license and we cannot operate until it is installed on another computer. Our company is not able to operate because of this issue.
Error Message: Setup has detected that the file 'C:\Users\floMppData\Local\Temp\VSD56A4.tmp\VCRedist200 SSP1-KB2.538242\vcredist_x86.exe· has changed since it was initially published. Click OKto retry the download, or Cancel to exit setup.

  • It seems you are installing a quite outdated version of Studio.

Go here: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\Dependencies and install all programs from there one by one. Then go up one level and into the folder corresponding to your version of Studio and start setup.exe there.

  • Hello

You raised another thread for the exact same issue and also raised a case for this. I replied on both of them offering a solution which fixed the exact same issue for all the other users who encountered it. You haven`t replied if you tried my suggestions, instead you opened a new thread saying it is absurd...

You can try Jerzy`s solution or you can try my solutions (see below):

"Please try to install Studio 2015 manually: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

If it doesn`t work, try to download and install the component (Microsoft Visual C++) mentioned in the error message from here: downloadcentercdn.sdl.com/.../vcredist_x86.exe
Then run the Studio installer again."

    Thank you,

    Sorin
