I'm actually using trados 2017 and i've just dowloaded the free trial 2021 version to test a special MT plug-in that only works with trados 2019 or 2021.
Unfortunately, I can't download the plug-in. Does anynone know why? Is it because my licence is related to trados 2017?
I hope someone can help with that.

Thank you for contacting us! There is no access to the plugin in the free trial of Trados 2021. The free trial has the following limitations: you cannot use the apps, machine translation, Trados Live or Multiterm. To use these features you need to have a full Freelance or Professional license.

This would be one of the options. Another one would be purchasing a Trados Freelance 2021 license, but please note it won't work on a domain-based network.
