Once you process the upgrade 2019 will continue to work in your old computer for as long as it's running.  If 2021 is licenced in your new computer then once you uninstall or deactivate 2019 in the old computer then it will no longer be available to you.  So you can process the upgrade, but just DO NOT deactivate 2019 in the old computer until you are ready to never use it there again.

Having said that, you do have a plus licence so you could probably licence 2021 on the old one too, and then this should allow 2019 to work because it will use the 2021 licence.  You won't need to use the 2021 licence code in 2019 (in fact that will not work) but it will work by virtue of 2021 being licenced and installed on the same machine.

To use your TM in 2021 just add it to your projects in exactly the same way you do it for 2019.  No difference whatsoever. It's really easy and you should have no problems.  If you do need more help though just come back and ask!

Right now, I have my TM located in the folder called Documents - SDL - SDL Multiterm - Termbases.

I don`t know if I did the Export - Import right.

TM created in my old computer.

In the new laptop, when I open a new file in Trados, I can see the Translation Memory in the Tab Translation Memory (below Welcome, Projects, Files, Reports, Editor) located at the bottom left on the screen. But when I am on Editor, Trados cannot find the Translation Memory or the Termbase. It cannot recognize and populate automatically the segments that are in the TM.

What should I do?

I can’t get you screenshots I’m afraid (using my phone) but the Translation Memories view you are using now is only for maintenance. It’s not linked to your projects at all.

You need to add your Translation Memory to your project through your Project Settings. Just open your Project Settings, look for All Language Pairs and keep navigating until you see where you can add a TM. It is fairly obvious once you’re looking on the right place.
