I am trying to install StudioSubtitling plug-in for 2019. I downloaded the 2019 plug-in from the appstore. I am using Studio2019 version. In the installation wizard it only lists my old 2017 version, grayed out, obviously, as an option. Why would it not list the 2019 version that I am currently using? I still have the 2017 also on my cpu, I have not removed it, if that matters.
Any help / advice?

That seems like something that could work, except that that file folder the 2019 C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio... on my cpu shows that it's empty. Is it because I have not installed the Studio2019 correctly? I did the same with the 2019 version as I did with the 2017... Yet only the 2017 is showing up in the plug-in wizard dialogue box...

Most probably the folder is empty because you don`t have any plugins installed. Try to create a Plugins then Packages folder (same name as in the 2017 path) and copy the plugin there.
