Just got a nice new laptop and installed Studio2021 Freelance. My old activation code did not work. I tried to reset and got another error message.
It's still installed on my old laptop and works fine. If there's anything I can do, please let me know!

If you have only a Freelance license (and not a Freelance Plus license) then you can only have Trados Studio activated on one computer at a time.
You can have it installed on more than one computer but you need to release the license on one computer to be able to activate Trados Studio with the same code on another computer.
This is done via the Help tab > Product Activation > Deactivate on the one computer then Help tab > Product Activation > Activate on the other computer.
The easiest place to copy the long, complicated code from, so you can paste it into the Activation dialog, is on your My Account Licenses page here:

If you want to move the license from the old computer to the new one I can log a support ticket to have your license reset. If you want to use it on both computers you need to upgrade to Freelance Plus license like Alison said. The Freelance Plus license allows you to activate Studio on 2 computers at the same time.
