Help, please....Trados Studio 2021 deactivation failure

Please help. After so many attempts to do try and thinking that somehow it is an issue caused by myself, I have to realize that Trados does not simply let you deactivate your license so that you can get it to the new computer. I was moving the programs from a borrowed desktop to a new laptop and already lost time on a project because I cannot work on it. Can anyone suggest what the issue is or is there support staff that handles the migration of a program due to computer upgrades? I have a lifetime license and suspect that this may be an ongoing issue.
