As a new RWS vendor I received a 90-day trial version of Trados Studio 2021. However I am already in possession of a perpetual license for the same product, the one I'm currently using.
What are the steps to change the trial version license on record with my perpetual license?

I imagine you received a 90-day licence key? So under Help-> Product Activation just deactivate the licence and then reactivate with your new one.
