Cannot Deactivate License

I'm trying to deactivate my Trados 2017 license in order to upgrade to Trados 2019 (yes I know there are newer versions available but I must follow my client's requirements, so please let's skip that part of the conversation - thanks!).

- Online deactivation fails with the message "Deactivation failed. Could not revoke this license. - Error[202]: lock info is not matching".

- Offline deactivation fails in the "Generate Certificate" step with the message "Failed to deactivate offline. The specified deactivation authorization may not be valid. Validate your deactivation authorization against the authorization in your SDL Account." - which is where I just copied and pasted the authorization from.

I've searched around a lot but it seems that this forum is the only way to having a support case logged in such situations. Can someone from the support team take care ot it for me, please?
