Trados Studio 2021 does not start after update

Hi all,

I have updated Trados Studio to the latest version yesterday. It won't start now. I get the error message

Error message in Trados Studio stating 'Service 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.ProjectManagement.IProjectManagementService' could not be started'.

As suggested in the Knowledge base, I have deleted projects.xml in C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Studio 201X\Projects.

Now I get this message

Error message in XML format indicating 'Cannot talk to the license server on host 'APP01'. Server not running?' with status code 21005.

Host APP1, where our floating licence lies, is up and running. Other workstations can connect to it without problems.

Has anyone an idea what the root cause for this problem might be?

Any help very much appreciated.
