I want to move my licence from a old laptop of a new one. The licence have already deactivate to an old laptop, but I need an Installation ID of RWS to continue and don't seem to find it anywhere.
Please help me.
Yje new laptop has now the 1 month trial period and I don't know how to bypass it the problem.

An Installation ID is needed only if you`re performing an Offline activation. The simpler method (Online activation) is to click on Activate > Copy the license code in the Activation Code field and the click Activate again: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039555

The online activation does not work. SDL has an alternative activation procedure, but doesn't provide the Installation ID required to do so. WHERE IS THIS?!?!?!?
As I wind my way through the RWS maze of forums, etc., it appears that if a customer needs an Installation ID, they need to file a support case (when the Installation ID could be provided just as easily at the activation code). In order to get tippity-top service, you have to pay extra for a "support package." Am I missing anything?
