Deactivated license shows as "in use"

I deactivated my license on a computer but it still shows as "in use". Trying to reset or deactivate the license offline did not work either.

Is there a maximum number of deactivations? I have been activating/deactivating the licence to use it either at my office or my home to avoid working in the cloud - not yet familiar enough with this.

Can you please help?
