Will RWS be offering a generic license to all license holders of older versions of Trados, then?
No. These old versions of Trados Studio were end of lifed a long time ago ( https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0027534 ). We continued to support the licence resets for as long as was practically possible despite having no obligation to do so, but now we are technically unable to continue. These versions used a licensing software that is also no longer supported.
