I am in the process of changing to my new computer. I had successfully installed trados 2022 and activated the licence but although it appeared to work initially, now, every time I try to start it, a small window opens up for a fraction of a second after the trados logo starts and it immediately shuts down... help please!
I have already tried repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting etc. numerous times.
I have already tried disabling the firewall.

Sorry, my mistake, Windows 11. Out of interest, since figured out what caused it (it happened again) - it was the installation of two plugins from the store..... (TM repair and xbench) - not sure which of the two caused the issue but suspect it might have been xbench

By renaming the folders as described in the article - it worked perfectly!
By renaming the folders as described in the article - it worked perfectly - twice, being as the same thing happened when I reinstalled the plugin....
