Freelance 2019 does not work on domain-based networks?

Greetings to all; This week, upon attempting to start up Trados Studio 2019 Freelance I receive the message "The Freelance Edition does not work on domain-based networks". This has happened after my work laptop had been connected to the print/scan/copy machines of the company. Before - when my laptop was simply connected to the company's internet but without printer connection - I had no problems...does this mean that I must upgrade to Freelance 2022?

SDL Trados 2019 gave the option to connect the translation project to the automatic translation from Systrans, Google API etc. So, I was using Google API and upon selecting Google API, the system presented me with the option of 'neural translation' or 'phrase-based translation'.

Trados 2019 did not give you all these options.  Systran was provided by a plugins from the AppStore.  However the old Google integration was part f the product:

Screenshot of Trados Studio's 'Add Connection to Google Cloud Translation API' window with options for 'Neural MT' and 'Phrase-Based MT', the latter being indicated by a red arrow.

Since Trados Studio 2021 this was removed from the product and we only support Google via plugins.  The "Phrase-based MT" option is also no longer available as this was retired by Google in preference to Neural MT.  Today whether you use the V2 or V3 API they are both neural.

So you need to use MT Enhanced, or Google Cloud n Glossary from the private appstore for example.
