 If you do not deactivate your Studio 2017 license on your computer, you can continue to run Studio 2017 alongside Studio 2022 until you have to reactivate your license - for example because you change your computer. Until then, you can run both applications until you feel comfortable enough to move over to 2022 altogether.

OK, but when I click on the blue link and come to the Upgrade Licenses page there is a message saying "Upgrading means the license(s) below on the left will be removed and will be replaced with the license(s) shown on the right. This process can't be reversed." This sounds like the Studio 2017 will be deactivated when I click Process Upgrade. Please advise.

The license will be removed from your account and can`t be activated afterwards but your Studio 2017 won`t be deactivated and you can still use it after the upgrade.
