Not possible to install Trados Studio 2014 on a PC with Trados 2007?

Question

Hi all! 
 I'm trying to install Trados Studio 2014 and I get an error message saying it's not possible to install it on a PC with Trados 2007. Do I really have to delete Trados 2007 from my PC to install Studio 2014?

You can always uninstall 2007, Install 2014 then re-install 2007 as a work-around.

Hi, 
It seems like you are getting a weird error when trying to parse the installation check. 
Make sure you are running as an administrator and temporarily disable any antivirus and try again. 
You can also try to replace the suite file in the installer folder with a version that does not try to install the compatibility module (sending that via email). 
Overwrite the file after unzipping it into the C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosStudio2014_SP2 folder and double click the setup.exe in the same location.
