I have to install a new Window in the same laptop, do I need to deactivate the program?

If yes, how can I deactivate?

How to download and re-install the program?

How can I activate again?

Would you please tell me in each step? Please be very detailed. I'm not good with program and computer.

    As your OS will change, all programs on your PC will be wiped out. So you need to deactivate Trados Studio.

    • Go to Help, chose Product Activation and deactivate the product
    • Install Windows
    • After doing so (or before, your choice) login to your RWS account using your RWS ID (previously SDL, password and user are the same)
    • When logged in, go to downloads to download the program
    • Under Licenses you'll find your activation code there
    • To activate, install the program (doing so by right clicking the installer and choosing to run as admin) and enter the activation code when starting or via Help menu
