re-licensing after computer crash and reinstallation of product

Hi everyone,

I unfortunately had a computer crash and have had to reinstall SDL Trados Studio 2014 from scratch. In my online account I have no available licenses, since my license referred to the installation on the pre-crash computer. How can I deactivate the old license and reactivate it on my new installation of the product?

Thanks for any help!

If it is a Freelance version, you can use the "Force deactivation" feature documented here.

If it is a Professional version, you need to request licensing support. If you have a support contract, open a support ticket, if you don't, go to kb.sdl.com, click on the tab "Solution Finder", select "Licensing problems" and then the node shown below:

Fill out the form on the right and send it. SDL Licensing support will then contact you.
