I'm installing Trados Studio on to my new laptop and I'm getting an error message saying: "An error occurred while downloading a required file. You may retry downloading the file or cancel setup"
You may have a bigger problem than installation. This version is no longer supported and this includes licensing. So if you move to a new laptop, as you seem to have done, you will no longer be able to licence it. So even if we are able to help you to get the product installed, you still won't be able to activate it.
Your solution, if you wish to work with Trados Studio is to purchase the current version.
